Déchelle, the owner, is a wine-grower and will be happy to show you the various stages of wine production … After which, best foot forward for a hike on one of the many footpaths in the Marne valley - you may come across other wine-growers, and you can explore fascinating historical sites like the Château of Condé and American war memorials from World War I.

Owner-winegrowers invite you to visit their farms - cellar tours on request, freedom towalk round the vineyard, Champagne tasting, often free but sometimes there is a charge (usually 2 €uros per glass, per person).A bottle of Champagne awaits you on your arrival. The owners will also takeyou on a free guided tour of their estate and cellars - this needs to be booked (gîte is not located on the farm).
