"On the farm"'On the farm' accomodation is offered as a joint venture between GITES DE FRANCE and BIENVENUE A LA FERME. Accomodation is on or very close to a farm. You are sure of a friendly welcome from the owners who are farmers or retired farmers. You may be offered a tour of the farm.The gîte is located next to the farm. So you can see sheep, hens and mallard ducks. The owners will be happy to show you round their sheep farm and arable fields growing cereals and sugar beet.
And Baby comes too…Some 'gîtes ruraux' and Charmance guesthouses are specially equipped for babies. They offer a complete range of equipment, comprising (as a minimum) : bath with baby seat, potty, child's toilet seat, bottle warmer (or microwave ingites), cot (bed linen and duvet supplied free-of-charge), changing table, bouncing cradle seat, high chair.The owner can provide a cot (sheets and duvet supplied at no extra charge), changing table, high chair, bouncing chair, bath with special seat, potty and toilet seat adaptor, microwave, baby lunch set (glass, plate, bowl, cutlery)
