DescriptifL'Ecume Pétillante : Attractive 3 'épis' standard gîte at heart of the Champagne vineyards - ideal for people interested in winegrowing, especially Champagne ! Mme BOUTAIG (whose family have been winegrowers for 4 generations) and her husband will be happy to take you to the BARON ALBERT cellars at times and on days when this family business is open. The perfect opportunity to sample some Champagne and to understand how the vinification method produces such great wine. See you soon for some 'bubbly'!
Votre environnementL'Ecume Pétillante : Old renovated house at centre of village 10km from Château-Thierry & 85km from Paris. Private fenced garden (725 sq. m.). Private parking, garden, children's games. Ground floor: hall, kitchen opening onto lounge/dining room, WC. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (160x200 cm bed, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC) (2 single beds, non-adjoining private shower room/WC). Beds made on arrival. Bed and household linen supplied at no extra cost. Towels : 4€/person. Gas-fired central heating: 50€/week, 18€/weekend (1/10 to 30/04) and 30€/week, 13€/weekend (1/05 to 30/09). Fixed charge for optional cleaning : 40€. Tumble-drier.

The Champagne vineyardsWould you like to see the Champagne vineyards ? Find out more about how Champagne is produced? This is the special interest holiday for you! Owner-winegrowers invite you to visit their farms - cellar tours on request, freedom towalk round the vineyard, Champagne tasting, often free but sometimes there is a charge (usually 2 €uros per glass, per person).On arrival you will find a bottle of Champagne. The owners will also take you on a free guided tour of the family winegrowing estate (please book ahead). Gîte is located 3km from their vineyards.
